Under-preformed

No band. No cheerleaders. No video boards. Honestly, I would've preferred to be watching this game at home, at least I would be able to hear the commentator, watch replays and listen to the interviews that were being conducted. I felt I got the short end of the stick. This should've been an event that went all out - but instead it fell short. The entire stadium was set up for a concert still (which is understandable since we are not in a normal season) but the score boards were only on one side of the arena making it hard to see. Now, don't even get me started on the players. I was unimpressed by the participation of past players and I'm not sure who to blame. This event shouldn't only be held for the players currently in the NBA. That actually made it insanely boring because they players were afraid of getting hurt so they didn't do anything exciting. Patrick Sparks, Patrick Patterson, Azubuike, Derek Anderson, Tayshaun Prince, and the list goes on. Now THAT would've been an exciting game! Old and new players coming together and playing. There also could've been a lot more media hype! Announcing the players (one player each day leading up to the game). Video announcements of how excited players were to return to Rupp arena. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed and let down in this event. Next year, I would rather donate $20 and watch the game at home.
